Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions explain how you can use the website and enjoy the services offered by KMB Interiors LLC, located at 17227 30th Dr SE, Bothell, WA 98012, USA. When you book a consultation, sign a proposal, or engage with our design team in any way, you're agreeing to the terms we've outlined below. We encourage you to read through them carefully before getting started. If you have any questions or need clarification, we're always here to help! Feel free to contact us at support@kmbinteriors.com or call us at 1-844-710-1700, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Our Services
We happily offer interior design services throughout Bothell and the broader Puget Sound area. Whether you're looking for a complete room makeover, an entire home's redesign, color and material advice, furniture sourcing, renovation coordination, or refreshing a single space, we're here to help. We’ll work closely with you to determine the perfect scope of work, timeline, and deliverables, which will all be outlined in a written proposal or agreement before we start. Once both of you sign this, it becomes part of our Terms and takes priority if any disagreements arise.
We believe that design is a very collaborative process. Your input, preferences, and honest feedback are invaluable at every step. Sometimes, delays like slow approvals, late responses, or changing requirements can impact our schedule, but don’t worry—we’ll always keep you in the loop and work together to adjust timings rather than letting the project stall. We're excited to bring your vision to life and make this experience enjoyable and stress-free for you!
Consultations and Proposals
Initial consultations are a great opportunity for us to get to know your space, budget, and goals better. There's no pressure or binding commitment during this time — just a friendly chat to understand your needs. Once we provide a formal proposal, it’s valid for 30 days, giving you plenty of time to decide. After that, we might need to revisit pricing and availability to ensure everything’s still on track.
Fees and Payment
Fees for our services are outlined in your individual proposal and vary depending on project scope, room count, and the level of sourcing involved. A deposit is required to reserve your project slot and begin work; the remaining balance is invoiced according to the payment schedule in your agreement. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise specified. Late payments may pause active work on your project until the account is brought current.
Costs for furniture, materials, and third-party products are separate from our design fees and will be itemized and approved by you before any purchase is made on your behalf.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, please give us at least 48 hours' notice so we can offer that slot to another client. For active design projects, cancellation terms (including any non-refundable portions of your deposit) are specified in your signed proposal, since the work required up to that point has already been performed.
Client Responsibilities
To keep your project moving, we ask that you respond to design proposals, mood boards, and approval requests in a reasonably timely manner, and that you provide accurate information about your space, budget, and any structural or building constraints we should know about. If access to your property is required for measurements, installations, or site visits, please coordinate scheduling with our team in advance.
Third-Party Vendors and Products
Many projects involve furniture, fixtures, or materials sourced through third-party vendors, manufacturers, or contractors. While we vet our vendor partners carefully and manage the sourcing process on your behalf, we aren't the manufacturer of these products and can't guarantee against manufacturing defects, shipping delays, or discontinued items outside our control. Where a vendor offers a warranty or return policy, we'll pass that information along to you directly.
Intellectual Property
Design concepts, drawings, mood boards, and renderings created by KMB Interiors remain our intellectual property until full payment for the associated project has been received. Once paid in full, you're welcome to use the final design materials for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. We also reserve the right to photograph completed projects and use those images in our portfolio, website, or marketing materials, unless you let us know in writing that you'd prefer we didn't.
Limitation of Liability
We bring care and professional judgment to every project, but interior design involves a degree of subjectivity, and we can't guarantee that every outcome will match your initial vision in every detail. KMB Interiors isn't liable for delays, costs, or damages caused by third-party vendors, contractors, shipping carriers, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific project in question.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or our practices. The version posted on this page is always the current one, and continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a change is significant, we'll do our best to let existing clients know directly.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be handled in the courts of King County, Washington.
