A Design Practice Built Around Listening

Kiley Branson started KMB Interiors LLC because she kept noticing the same thing in home after home: good bones with bad flow. A living room nobody actually sat in. A kitchen island in the wrong place for how the family cooked. Rooms that looked fine in photos and felt off in real life. Fixing that gap between how a house looks and how it actually functions became the whole point of the business.

Every project still starts the same way it did on day one. Kiley walks the space, asks questions most people don't think to bring up, and pays attention to the parts of a home that get overlooked, the traffic patterns, the light at different hours, the storage nobody uses because it's in the wrong spot. Design decisions come out of that groundwork, not out of a trend board.

Design That Starts With Questions, Not Answers

Kiley doesn't walk into a project with a fixed idea of what it should look like. She asks what frustrates you about the space, how you actually spend your evenings there, and what you've been putting off changing. The design comes out of those answers.

Materials Chosen to Last, Not Just to Photograph

A room that looks good in a photo and falls apart under daily use isn't a finished project, it's a start. Every fabric, finish, and fixture gets weighed against how the space gets used before it gets weighed against how it looks.

A Local Business, Built on Repeat Clients

KMB Interiors LLC works out of Bothell and serves homes across the greater Puget Sound area. Most new projects come from people who worked with Kiley before, or from a referral by someone who did.
